Support

We're happy to help

Earleaf connects to the Audiobookshelf server you already run, so most issues trace back to that connection rather than the app itself. Start with the questions below — if you're still stuck, reach out directly.

Common questions

Earleaf won't connect to my server

Check these three things first:

  • Your server address includes the correct scheme (https:// or http://) and port, if your server uses a non-standard one
  • Your device can actually reach the server — try opening the same address in a browser on the same network or VPN
  • You're signing in with the username and password created on your Audiobookshelf server. Earleaf doesn't have its own accounts, so these credentials always come from your server
My listening progress isn't syncing

Progress syncs directly with your Audiobookshelf server, so a sync issue is usually a connection issue. Confirm the server is reachable, then try backing out of the book and reopening it to force a refresh.

A downloaded book won't play offline

Make sure the download finished completely before going offline, and that your device has enough free storage. If a download was interrupted, deleting it and downloading again usually resolves it.

Is my data safe?

Earleaf doesn't collect any data of its own — everything runs between your device and the server you host. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email us with what happened, your device model and OS version, and the version of Earleaf you're running. Screenshots help a lot if the issue is visual.
